KEEP POLITICS OUT

The Management Council of Cashew Heights has decided that residents of the condo need lessons in who to vote for in the coming general election.

It wants to "increase the political awareness of all Singaporean residents" and ensure that they "better understand the party they wish to cast their votes for".

The Council members seem to think their aim can be achieved by allowing political parties to stuff residents' letter boxes with "party paraphernalia".

I look forward to the day when my letter box is filled to the brim with those pamphlets that are deemed so essential to my political well-being.

I will be taking them all to the management office so that Council members can explain to me in detail what the leaflets are about and why I should read them.

Thank you Council members for so kindly looking out for my political education.

P S: Dear fellow residents - if you think Council members have the right to decide what goes into your letter box, please write to thank them. If you think they don't, please write to tell them to keep politics out of your letter box.
